Our client, an independent AIFM specializing in real estate funds, is looking for a Senior Accountant to join their team in Luxembourg.
With billions assets under management, the company provides portfolio management, risk management, and central administration services for regulated funds in Luxembourg (SIF, RAIF). They primarily serve German clients looking to invest across Europe, with a focus on funds of funds, private debt, and real estate assets.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage full accounting from data entry to year-end accounts, handle payments, and maintain relationships with external providers and tax advisors.
- Oversee the consolidation of accounts and financial reporting for funds, including CSFF reporting.
- In addition to accounting responsibilities, you will oversee and mentor junior accountants while contributing to the growth of the accounting department.
- Work closely with internal teams and external partners, including property managers, legal, and tax teams to manage the accounting of PropCos.
Senior Accountant - Your Profile:
- Minimum Bachelor''s degree in finance, accounting, or a related field.
- 3-6 years of experience in accounting, ideally in an international environment or within investment funds.
- Proficiency in SAP and solid accounting knowledge.
- Fluent in German and English (both written and spoken).
- Knowledge of accounting and tax regulations, particularly for AIFM structures and real estate investments.
