What are your responsibilities as a Tekla Designer?
- You will be responsible for detailing and designing steel structures.
- You create workhouse drawings so that production pieces are easy to assemble.
- You translate from 2D to 3D based on plans, sketches, notes and technical specifications.
- You work on projects from A to Z and report to the department manager of the drawing office.
- You assist the assembly teams on a daily basis so that the designed structures could be assembled correctly and accurately.
- Limited price enquiries are also part of your duties.
- Your analytical insight and accuracy ensure that all designs can be put into production on time.
For this Tekla Designer position, we are looking for someone with the following capabilities:
- You have a technical degree.
- You have at least 2 years of relevant work experience as a draughtsman.
- You have an affinity with the steel sector.
- You have strong technical insight and are familiar with the principles of technical drawing.
- Experience in 3D drawing with Tekla Structure is a must.
- Knowledge of Autocad is a plus.
- You are stress-resistant and flexible.
- You speak and write English fluently, Dutch is a plus.
