JasperRose are working with of the largest media agency networks in the world who are looking for a Financial Operations Manager to join their team on an initial 36-month contract (with the opportunity to go permanent), based in Amsterdam (hybrid 3 days in the office).
This role is reporting into the Senior Financial Operations & Performance Manager, who reports up to the Financial Operations Director. The role is responsible for driving process improvement across the finance operations function and will work closely with stakeholders internally and externally.
Key Responsibilities:
- Implement robust processes for the groups billing''s function including streamlining processes across all clients
- Partner closely with both vendors and clients to understand discrepancies and implement resolutions
- Work alongside the Finance Operations Director to create a clear and efficient team structure
- Rolling out newly created processes to the group and ensure these policies are adhered to
- Implement KPIs for the group and ensure service level agreements and controls are adhered to
- Prepare and provide documentation and support for external audits including statutory and client audits
- Work closely with Billings Analysts to ensure discrepancies across clients are resolved
Key Requirements:
- Bachelor''s degree in finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field. A master''s degree or professional certification (e.g., CPA, CMA) is a plus.
- Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in operations, and 1-2 years in financial operations (ideally within billings) must be within the media or advertising industry.
- Proven experience in process improvement and implementation of new financial systems or processes.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with diverse stakeholders.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail.
- Proficiency in financial software and tools, with advanced Excel skills.
