We are specialized in the design, production and maintenance of components and systems for both the civil and military aviation.As IT Production and Quality Leader, you will be responsible to establish and execute the strategic roadmap for digital products supporting Avio Aero Supply Chain partnering with key stakeholders to align IT solutions to Business objectives.This role involves managing IT systems and infrastructure that support Supply Chain processes, ensuring data integrity, and driving continuous improvement initiatives to enhance production efficiency and product quality.Job DescriptionEssential ResponsibilitiesBe the reference point for Supply Chain Stakeholders (with a specific focus on Production and Quality), build trustworthy relationships with them, work to ensure alignment of the digital solutions with the overall strategy and key Business processes requirementsDevelop and implement IT strategies that support Production and Quality goals partnering with the Leadership and Business teamsClosely collaborate with Supply Chain teams to understand their needs, provide appropriate IT solutions, identify opportunities for process optimization to enhance production efficiency and product quality and ensure IT initiatives support their objectivesBring expertise and coordinate team resources and budget to lead project activities with specific focus on Production and Quality managementCoach/mentor team resources promoting and sustaining their growth and developmentand fostering a culture of continuous improvement and collaborationBe proactive in exploring alternate technology and be able to make technology choices based on experience and impact analysisEnsure IT systems and infrastructure are aligned with Business objectives, industry standards and regulatory requirementsBe accountable for IT operational excellence and ensure compliance to GE Aerospace standards and practicesQualifications/RequirementsBachelors degree in Computer Science or EngineeringDemonstrated and strong process/domain expertise of Supply Chain processes with good understanding of production and quality processes and requirementsStrong experience in IT Leadership rolesEstablished project management and organizational abilities with strong knowledge of the IT application development lifecycle and IT best practicesStrong Customer orientation, problem-solving skills and continuous improvement attitudeExpertise with ERP/SAP (PP, QM, MM, PM modules) and Manufacturing Execution Systems platformsExpertise with operating in a complex environment (multi-business, extended teams distributed across multiple geographies)Ability to navigate through ambiguityFluent Italian and good English knowledge (written and spoken)Work Visa, in accordance with local regulation, is requiredDesired characteristicsPMP certificationITIL certificationCompetencies in Agile and Scrum methodologiesAble to use Lean and 6 sigma tools and drive changeStrongoralandwrittencommunicationskillsProvenanalyticalandproblemresolutionskillsWhat we offerSmart working and work life-balanceAvio Aero, when possible, promotes smart work in hybrid mode, and encourages a good, healthy and satisfying work-life balance.
