About the Role

Digitalization is one of the strategic pillars of the organization. To realize this ambition, IT is transforming towards Agile thinking and working. The Current Application Team is responsible for the core applications currently used within the organization. The teams primary goal is to keep these applications running, manage life cycle processes, and implement must-do changes like those related to security and legal requirements.

The Current Application Team works according to ITIL and Agile methodologies (such as Scrum, Kanban, and DevOps). Besides development tasksdriven by the Product Owner and Life Cycle Managementthe team also handles unplanned work such as incidents, issues, and ad-hoc consultancy requests.

Were looking for a new colleague to join this team as a Scrum Master, someone who can facilitate and coach the team. Youll do this by removing obstacles and enabling the team to prioritize their work effectively to ensure customer satisfaction. You''ll maintain oversight of dependencies with other teams and be able to communicate effectively with a wide range of stakeholders.

You will also play a crucial role in quality assurance by validating requirements, creating test plans, and performing technical and functional testing of the solutions developed within the team. You will also contribute to shaping the Test Automation strategy.

As a driving force in the teams growth towards a DevOps way of working, you will provide insights into the team''s performance and be assertive in pushing for improvements toward your goals.

What Will You Do?

• Work closely with the Product Owners and Platform Lead to determine priorities and the roadmap for the Current Application Team, in coordination with external partners.
• Initiate projects based on the business roadmap and Life Cycle Management and report on them.
• Apply Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban, DevOps) as much as possible in execution.
• Provide functional guidance to the Current Application Team, ensure effective sprint planning, facilitate Scrum meetings, and enable the team to perform at its best. Identify bottlenecks and raise them within the organization.
• Together with the team, monitor the quality of user stories and incident reportsensuring clear descriptions, acceptance criteria, and development documentation.
• Safeguard the quality of the change, release, and deploy processes.

• MBO/HBO (secondary vocational/higher professional education) working and thinking level.
• Proven experience as a Scrum Master, delivering results in complex environments. You are collaboration-focused and trust-based, capable of motivating the team and bringing out the best in individuals.
• A clear vision for continuous improvement and the ability to achieve your goals.
• Strong communication skills and comfortable expressing your views in dynamic settings.
• Coaching abilities to effectively support team members in their personal and professional growth.
• Passion for and knowledge of logistics and operations.
• Familiarity and experience with Azure DevOps (AzDo).
• A pragmatic and flexible approach to applying Scrum ceremonies and other Agile tools/methodswithout compromising the core principles of Agile.
