Within the Procurement Department,the Purchasing Material Buyer is responsible of the purchasingactivities of assigned Purchase Requisitions in compliance withCorporate and Project Procedures and under the supervision of thePurchasing Group Leader. Main Responsibilities: - Preparation ofbidder lists - Organize and run tenders leveraging alsoe-Procurement System - Economic and contractual negotiation oforders and associated purchasing terms and conditions - PerformEconomical Bid Evaluation and propose awarding - Cooperate withProject Teams in highlighting main reasons of eventual extrabudgets and proposing mitigation actions - Secure compliance withinternal procedures and protocols - Support and cooperate with theProject Procurement Manager / Coordinator during the development ofthe supplies in case of any commercial problem with Vendors (suchas claims, change order request, Liquidated Damages discussion,etc.) Required Skills: - 4/5 years of Purchasing experience -Experience in operating in international challenging environment -Experience in-end-to end tender management (RFx Process).E-procurement systems knowledge is a plus. - Design experience inengineering departments is a plus - Experience in prepare andexecute negotiation with suppliers both on costs and contractsTerms & Conditions - SAP knowledge for supplies management -Experience in contract preparation - Ability to interface andmanage Internal Stakeholders - Ability to manage multiplepriorities - Problem solving skills and ability to resolveconflicting situations - Strong written and verbal communicationskills in the English language - Team player with ability to buildand maintain internal and external relationships - Good computerskills, proficient with MS Office applications and SAP -Availability to travel for short period in Italy and abroad.Education: University Degree in Business & EconomicsEngineering is a plus Work Location: Rome
