Product Manager Assistant The Product Assistant willfollow set pricing strategies, always in support of the GlenairGuiding Principles, for marketing and product development toachieve product line revenue and gross margin growth targets. Rolesand Responsibilities - Develop and agree with Product Managerpricing strategies with the goal of maximizing Glenair worldwideprofits and Glenair Company objective and share of the market whileensuring the customers are satisfied. - Assist in productdevelopment or monitor trends that indicate the need for newproducts and services. - Interface effectively and establish quickcredibility and confidence with: Engineering, Manufacturing,Customer Service, Business Development, Marketing Assistants,Country Assistants, Sales Assistants, Sales Reps, Distributors, andDirect Customers. - Develop and implement (with Sales/ProductManagers) strategic product plans for key product lines andidentifies opportunities for new product lines. - Filter andanalyze all new product opportunities in line with strategy andGlenair capability. - Work closely with Marketing and engineeringand ensure product engineering resources are prioritized. -Formulate and implement product strategies to meet revenue andgross margin growth goals. - Develop pricing schedules (on line andoff line) and special quotes for sales. - Develop pricingstrategies, balancing Glenair objectives and customer satisfaction.- Supervise and prepare technical and commercial bids andproposals. - Demonstrate application engineering skills and productknowledge. - Overall knowledge of the complete Glenair productrange. - Complete Other duties as assigned. Training, experienceand skills: - An extremely talented and flexible individual withstrong presentation skills, adept business knowledge,organizational abilities, and who is capable of bridging customerbusiness requirements with technical features and broader markettrends, indices, and capabilities. - Degree in electrical andelectronic or mechanical engineering. - Knowledge of electronicdesign followed by a technical / application support. - Language:fluent (written and oral) both in Italian and English (Level C1). -Strong interpersonal, communication and organizational skills. -Self motivated and able to work without direct supervision. - Mustbe well organized with a problem solving, proactive approach tobusiness and have strong interpersonal and communication skills. -Demonstrate ability to interact and cooperate with all companyemployees. - Build trust, value others, communicate effectively,drive execution, foster innovation, focus on the customer,collaborate with others, solve problems creatively and demonstratehigh integrity. - Maintain professional internal and externalrelationships that meet company core values. - Proactivelyestablish and maintain effective working team relationships withall support departments.
