Full Stack Software DeveloperOur transversal Group Technology R&D is looking for a Software Developer to complete his team and build up a new HMI for our Quality Control Products. You will report to the Embedded Software Manager and closely partner with cross-functional teams and experts in our organization.
The BOBST Group Technology division carries out innovative technology and product developments to shape digital transformation in the packaging industry. Within this group, the Quality Control Product team which develop next generation of machine vision products is looking for a talented Senior Embedded Backend Software Developer to complete his team and participate in the design, implementation, and testing of our products that increase the competitiveness of our machines.
In this function, you will be entrusted with the following main tasks:
- Working in an industrial environment with Embedded equipment
- Within the Frontend Platform Team, defining and building a new unified embedded architecture
- Development of Backend for Frontend of a web-based solution
- Maintaining/Improving the Embedded Backend setup and deployment
- Working with Azure DevOps tools, including the creation of automated testing and deployment pipelines
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to define and implement software requirements using architecture best practices
- Defining test specifications and implement automated tests
- Writing documentation in English
For this function, you bring the following requirements:
- Bachelor''s or Master''s in Computer Science or equivalent knowledge including multiple years of experience
- Experience in the usage of C#
- Experience in is a plus
- Experience in interfacing with API and automates (OPC-UA)
- Experience with containerization technologies such as Docker in an embedded Windows/Linux systems
- Good knowledge in the usage and design of REST APIs and knowledge about automated testing ( Playright, Cypress, )
- Experience with CI/CD pipeline
- Experience working in an Agile Team
- Very good spoken and written English and French desirable
- Open minded to learn new things

The production site of Mex, near Lausanne in Switzerland, is also the headquarters of the Bobst Group. It is the most important site, employing approx. 1500 passionate people.
