Job title: Data Engineer Type: Freelance Duration: 12 months Location: Lyon, France (3 days per week onsite) Overview: We are working with a well-known IT Services firm based in Lyon who are looking to welcome a freelance Data Engineer onto the team for a business critical mission. The selected candidate will work as part of project teams to help with the ingestion, transformation, storage and provisioning of data in their data lake. This role will be part of a large project to implement Snowflake as a cloud-based data platform where you will involved in development, build projects, and operational maintenance tasks. Qualifications: Minimum 3 years' experience working as a Data Engineer Must have strong experience working in an AWS Cloud Architecture environment Strong knowledge of Spark and Scala is required Understanding of DevOps tools and methodologies is welcome, e.G.
