As a Field Technician Generators, you will activelyparticipate in various maintenance projects, overhauls andinterventions. An extra challenging aspect of the job is that notwo days are the same. You will be responsible for organizing,coordinating and performing mechanical maintenance work onindustrial generators and auxiliary systems. At the start of a newconstruction site, you will be involved in the preparation and,together with the expert engineers from our team, determine theapproach, planning and scope of the work to be performed. Dependingon the project, you will either take on the role of site supervisoror the role of field technician (or both). In the role as sitesupervisor, you will coordinate and execute and be responsible fordetermining resources, ordering materials and following up on themcorrectly and on time. During execution , you will work with a teamof technicians consisting of both colleagues and subcontractors.You will be responsible for monitoring and reporting on the workrequired and constantly ensure the safety of yourself and yourcolleagues. For unplanned sites or incidents, you will participatein interventions, analyze problems and work hands-on on thegenerators with the goal of resolving the problem. You aremechanically and/or electrically skilled (A2/bachelor/graduateelectromechanics, electronics, electrical engineering), experiencein generator maintenance is a plus. You are fluent in French and/orDutch and in English You are flexible in terms of working hours andworkplace. You see varying hourly schedules (day, shifts, weekends)as ''part of the job''. You are willing to perform work at ourvarious sites in Belgium and abroad (mainly France and theNetherlands, max. 30%) A high-tech workplace where passion fortechnology is key.
