Krakow-based opportunity with the possibility to work 70% remote As a Red Hat Admin, you will be working for our client, a leading financial institution. You will be involved in driving service improvement through automation and innovation, ensuring secure and scalable environments. Your role will include maintaining large-scale systems, automating workflows, and enhancing security processes. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement observability solutions and troubleshoot complex issues. This position offers the opportunity to work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment where you will be contributing to the development and maintenance of cybersecurity solutions that support business-critical applications. Your main responsibilities: Configuring and managing RedHat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) environments Implementing and maintaining automation using Ansible for infrastructure management Developing and optimizing CI/CD pipelines with Jenkins to enhance deployment processes Managing and troubleshooting IP networking, including routing, subnetting, firewalls, and proxies Performing vulnerability management and ensuring compliance with security best practices Handling ITIL-compliant change management processes to maintain system stability Troubleshooting complex OS and networking configurations to ensure system reliability Enhancing observability by implementing logging, monitoring, and alerting solutions Supporting operational management, including root cause analysis for major incidents Collaborating with stakeholders across Cybersecurity and IT teams to improve security posture You're ideal for this role if you have: Strong experience with RedHat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) administration Proficiency in scripting languages such as Bash for automation Hands-on experience with Ansible for configuration management and automation Knowledge of CI/CD tools like Jenkins to streamline software deployment Solid understanding of networking concepts, including firewalls, proxies, and subnetting Experience in vulnerability management and security compliance processes Ability to troubleshoot complex system and networking issues effectively Familiarity with ITIL-compliant change management processes Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to cybersecurity challenges Effective communication skills and experience working in cross-functional teams It is a strong plus if you have: Experience with Windows Server administration Knowledge of cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP, Azure, or AliCloud Proficiency in infrastructure as code (IaC) tools like Terraform and Helm Understanding of containerization and orchestration tools such as Docker and Kubernetes Familiarity with security tools like HashiCorp Vault for secrets management Experience with observability tools such as Splunk, Application Dynamics, and xMatters Hands-on experience with databases like MSSQL and PostgreSQL Knowledge of Agile methodologies and tools such as Jira and ServiceNow Exposure to service mesh technologies such as Istio Experience working in large-scale IT environments with enterprise security solutions Experience with similar but not identical tools: ELK, Grafana, Prometheus, Oracle
