Field Service Technician
The company develops, invests in, and runs renewable energy projects across the world, mostly onshore wind and solar plants. Starting with its initial project in California in 1987, they currently generate over 4 GW of wind and solar electricity globally. They run renewable energy projects throughout Europe totaling more than 1 GW.
The role:
- Project repairs, troubleshooting, and fault-finding can all be done autonomously.
- Fill out reports and checklists to fully inform the Local Operations Manager.
- Check the inventory of spare parts stock and be responsible for material on the job site and in the service van.
- Execute planned maintenance and inspection tasks.
- Standard monitoring of booked service reports and service process steering to correctly book expenses
The requirements:
- Minimum of three years of hydraulic, electrical or mechanical experience.
- Mid-level electrical and/or mechanical education.
- Fluent Dutch and English language skills.
- Willing to travel for training purposes and support other service points within the Benelux countries.
- Computer literate, able to use MS Office, SAP, specific software tools and in-house database and workload management systems
