We are seeking a highly motivated Insurance Manager to strengthen our Global Insurance & Risk Management team. Reporting to the Director of Global Insurance & Risk Management, you will play a key role in designing and implementing group-wide insurance and risk management programs, ensuring the protection of Alcons assets and earnings. In this role, you will provide oversight, administration, and advisory support for insurance placements across Alcon globally. Expanding beyond insurance, you will also help develop risk management strategies to mitigate key asset and liability risks.
You will be responsible for insurance governance, including risk analysis, insurance placements and renewals, claims support, loss prevention initiatives, and alternative risk transfer solutions, in coordination with the Head of Global Insurance. You will collaborate closely with the US Insurance Manager, Treasury team, Finance functions, and various risk owners across the Group.

WHAT YOULL BRING TO ALCON:

- Experience:
25 years of experience in an insurance environment (corporate insurance, insurance company, insurance broker, consultant).
- Language Skills:
Excellent command of English (French or German is a plus).
Strong team player in an international, multicultural, and cross-functional environment.
Solid knowledge of corporate insurance lines and risk management practices.
Experience with AI tools is an asset.
Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to travel up to 10% (mainly Zurich & London, occasional on-site visits).
Reliable, flexible, open minded, team worker, creative, ability to self-critic.
Hybrid model: 4 days in the office, 1 day remote
