Responsibilities:
- Disseminating and posting documents
- Accounting and foreign currency valuation, accruals, etc.
- Preparation of VAT and CIT declarations
- Keeping accounting records and reconciling them with the ledger accounts
- Payroll preparation and reporting
- Preparation of tax returns and reports for internal and external institutions
- Cooperation with external institutions (ZUS, US, GUS, etc.)
- Preparing bank transfers and posting bank statements
- Confirm and reconcile balances with contractors
- Support of other team members in preparing reports and financial reports
- Keeping financial records in internal financial system (ERP)
- Active participation in the preparation of financial statements according to certain standards (e.g. Polish Accounting Act, VAT Act)
Requirements:
- Solid knowledge of English; must be able to use written and spoken English on a daily basis
- Good knowledge of Polish tax laws and accounting policies
- Knowledge of accounting and settlements in a limited liability company and a limited partnership
- 8-10 years of experience in the accounting area, including a minimum of 3-4 years of experience in a stand-alone position
- Good organization of work and ability of analytical thinking
- Good knowledge of MS Office (Excel)
- Knowledge of the accounting system - Comarch ERP Optima
