Could you use your skills to help in our hospice? By carrying out a specific therapy on patients and carers, you are helping to alleviate some of the physical and mental stress that they are experiencing. We welcome practitioners of a wide variety of complementary therapies. It is vital that you have completed an approved training scheme, are registered with a regulatory body, have current liability and indemnity insurance, and have at least one year''s post-qualification experience.Ideally you will also be registered with the CNHC (Complementary and Natural Healthcare Council) - the UK voluntary regulator.To carry out a specific therapy on patients and carers as referred to the service. Volunteers must be committed to the principles of palliative care and its application in practice.Therapies may be:- Acupuncture- Aromatherapy- Hypnotherapy- Massage (Swedish/Holistic/Indian Head /Remedial)- Reflexology- Reiki- Yoga and RelaxationThis role requires a disclosure check.
