Freight Operation (Export) A Dutch shipping and logistics company with a strong Nordic heritage, with operations in Iceland, Norway, Faroe Islands and the Netherlands is looking for a leader to fill a new role in Rotterdam. We operate within a dynamic global environment, dedicated to delivering exceptional service and solutions to our clients. As we continue to expand and optimize our operations, we are seeking a dedicated and experienced logistics operator to support and develop our logistics network and solutions to / from Rotterdam. You will operate from our Rotterdam office in Waalhaven, supporting our existing logistics business and pursuing further growth. Key Responsibilities: Manage and oversee daily pre-carriage and crossdocking for our liner service, ensuring efficiency and compliance with company policies and regulations with focus on export. Support operations of business units, with efficient customer support, export, pre-carriage by road, shortsea, deepsea and documentation. Develop and implement strategic plans to maximize market potential within our shipping and logistics segment. Strong collaboration with our international teams, fostering a culture of excellence and innovation. Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, stakeholders, and partners. Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs to identify opportunities and drive growth. Qualifications: Minimum of 5 years of experience in shipping and logistics, with a proven track record in operational logistics and transport. Strong understanding of the shipping and logistics market. Organized and service minded, accurate, flexible, taking responsibility, strong team player but able to work independently Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to operate effectively in an international environment, collaborating with diverse teams and stakeholders. Proficiency in English and Dutch languages.
