About the job The Head of Financial Reporting will lead and manage the reporting function of the company, ensuring timely, accurate, and insightful reporting to internal and external stakeholders. This role is pivotal in providing transparency across financial performance, regulatory compliance, and operational metrics within a fast-paced fintech environment.
Essential Job Responsibilities
Financial Reporting: Oversee the preparation and delivery of accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports. Ensure compliance with IFRS and local GAAPs. Partner with FP&A and Compliance to align reporting processes with strategic financial planning. Regulatory & Compliance Reporting: Lead the production and submission of regulatory reports (e.g., MiFID II, EMIR, FCA requirements). Liaise with regulatory bodies and auditors. To ensure compliance with evolving regulatory requirements affecting CFD legal entities . Operational & Trading Reporting: Develop dashboards and reports that monitor P&L performance. Deliver insights to key stakeholders including risk, compliance, dealing desk, and executive management . Automate and streamline reporting processes using newly implemented ERP system. Team Leadership & Strategy: Build and manage a high-performing reporting team. Define reporting strategy and roadmap in alignment with business objectives. Champion data governance and quality across reporting systems. Stakeholder Collaboration: Act as a key partner to the FP&A, Compliance, Licencing, Marketing, Regions, Product, Dealing and others depending on the strategic streamlines. Translate complex data into clear narratives for non-technical stakeholders. Support ad hoc analysis and executive reporting requirements.
Who you are: Proven experience (7+ years) in a reporting or audit Expertise in financial and operational reporting based on EPR system (NetSuite preferably) Any of professional certifications (ACA, ACCA, CFA, FRM)
is a must , ACCA is preferred Exceptional attention to detail and data accuracy. Demonstrated leadership and team management experience. Proficiency in written and verbal English and Russian communication Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, data-driven environment.
