Hepta Medical is a French medical device company developing an minimally-invasive treatment for lung cancer. Their ablation probe embarks a temperature sensor leveraging the principle of microwave radiometry to make remote tissue temperature measurements directly from the probe. The data collected by the sensor is combined with procedural CT images to display in real-time the growth of the ablation through a proprietary predictive software.
