**Job Description:** *Airbus Helicopters* is lookingfor a * Safety & Reliability Senior Engineer (f/m) with morethan 10 years experience* to join our Safety, Reliability andEnvironment Department based in* Marignane, France.* Safety &Reliability are key contributors to the final customer satisfactionand important drivers of design and architecture systems choices.As a Safety & Reliability engineer for Airbus Helicoptersprojects, the job holder will be in charge of managing safetyperformance for the basic helicopter evolutions. It is thereforekey for Airbus Helicopters to continuously add new functions, newsystems and improve maturity and availability of this aircraft. Wherever possible, we foster flexible workingarrangements to stimulate innovative thinking. *Your challenges:*In close relationship with project team, architects and designers,the job holder will have the responsibility of: - Coordination andorganization of all Safety and reliability activities related to anAirbus Helicopter - Managing internal but also external teammembers - performing safety and reliability analysis at all level(Helicopter, System) - Check design characteristics to reach safetyperformance - Support the systems installation inside the aircraftto reduce risks of cascading failure, fire or risks in case ofcollision with birds. - Influence design and architectures of newdevelopment to secure future programs success - Define, if needed,recommendation to modify the flight manual for operational safety -Challenge devices suppliers to ensure a design fulfilling safety /reliability requirement - Demonstrate to official services (OCCAR,NAHEMA, EASA...) that objectives of the regulation are met in orderto contribute to the approval of the modification. - Supportairworthiness and project team in the design choice andcertification strategy The Job holder will be supported by expertsof the department, Safety Certification Validation Engineer andteam members. This activity will allow the job holder to develophis leadership but also strong skills in all systems installed onthe aircraft and vehicle architecture dealing with Particular Risksand Zonal Safety Assessment. In addition, this activity willrequest to work in close collaboration with various actors of thedesign office such as Chief Engineer team, Flight Tests Crew,Architects & Designers, Helicopters installationrepresentatives. *Your profile:* We are looking for someone showingstrong interest in the following asset: - Master in Science orequivalent in aeronautics - Helicopter and system design orarchitecture - *more than 10 years experience in Safety &Reliability*, In addition, the candidate should have: - Stronginterpersonal skills, initiative and autonomy mindset - value basedleadership - Synthetic & structure approach - Curiosity &Willingness to discover technical aspects This position requires asecurity clearance or will require being eligible for clearance bythe recognized authorities.
