The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment and is eager to learn and grow with the Chapman Freeborn Airchartering team.Purpose of the RoleIdentify, target, and secure business opportunities for our products in Italy.Maximize business opportunities by offering tailored solutions to meet client requirements, ensuring profitability within operational constraints.Manage a portfolio of clients and develop new business through proactive initiatives, including following up on leads, client recommendations, and networking.Create awareness of CF GSA and cargo charter products and services to acquire new regular business.Support the growth of our products across Italy by collaborating with brokers and the EU leadership team.Key ResponsibilitiesImplement sales strategies and business objectives across Italy in line with the Cargo Sales Manager EU and Director GSA.Develop country-specific plans with broker teams to support existing and new client relationships and generate further business.Monitor progress against sales strategies and report bi-monthly to the Cargo Sales Manager EU and Director GSA, highlighting issues and recommending actions.Identify opportunities for business growth in new and existing markets.Research and identify new areas for business development.Stay informed about competitor activities to identify opportunities.Support local broker teams with relevant information and assistance throughout the brokering process.Visit potential, new, and existing customers to generate business.Maintain and develop relationships with key clients and new leads to maximize opportunities and foster client loyalty.Drive sales activity for all products and customers from regional and local perspectives.Continuously source new operators and suppliers to build relationships and increase active clients.Ideal Candidate Profile3-5 years of relevant experience.Based in Italy, preferably Torino, with willingness to travel occasionally.Proficient in Italian and English.Knowledge of the local market.Experience in the aviation industry.Team player capable of working in a fast-paced environment.Strong relationship-building, account management, and customer service skills.Ability to balance client needs with business objectives.Whats In It For YouOpportunity to join a global company and be part of an international, diverse team.Access to thousands of courses on LinkedIn Learning platform.Chapman Freeborn, with nearly 50 years of experience, offers a wide range of aviation-related services worldwide.
