About theRole: As a member of the DC Operations team and reporting to theDatacenter Manager, the DC IT/RUN maintenance Technician ensuresthe proper functioning of the data center infrastructure bysecuring equipment installation and maintenance, which guaranteesthe equipments continuity of service. The role requires to workon-call on a team rotation basis. Responsibilities: - Contributeto datacenter systems architecture and ensure 1st level of support- Optimize the racks for new servers - Connect power and networkcables within server and network racks - Wire the incoming cablesand network within the racks respecting wiring scheme - Install /Uninstall servers as required by the DC Team Leader and inaccordance with the operational plan - Assemble and installcomputer hardware (assemble / install / upgrade/ update servers) -Adhere to health and safety rules and regulatory requirements -Escalate incident tickets to Level 2 support where appropriate -Complete interventions on the equipment in response to monitoringalerts or customer tickets - Upgrade the servers (change obsoletecomponents) - Undertake curative maintenance on delivered servers -Troubleshoot technical issues using various tools: network, servers- Perform regular established maintenance procedures - Understandand maintain cabling systems - Replace failed networking deviceswithin racks - Implement actions to resolve problems related to theserver environment - Ensure servers are functioning properly viaanalysis and monitoring - For all these actions, use the righttools and keep assets databases up to date: stock, assets, status,actions, etc... - Manage and resolve system failures quickly -Assist team members with other relevant maintenance tasks withinthe Datacenter - Coordinate activity with all 24/7 teams and helpimprove customer relations - Contribute to the continuousimprovement of the department, meeting the requirements set out inthe quality management system - Help maintain good customerrelations and customer satisfaction on a daily basis - Ensureinformation is shared between maintenance agents and providereports to the Team Leader - Respect the schedule and targets setby the Team Leader Qualifications: - High school diploma orequivalent qualification in electronics / IT / Maintenance - Aminimum of 2 years experience in a similar role - Experience ofbuilding and maintaining computers Required Skills: - A keeninterest in IT and computer hardware products/components - Advancedunderstanding of general maintenance procedures and techniques -Physically capable and available to work weekends, public holidays,and evenings - Effective problem-solving abilities - A team playerwith excellent communication skills - Organized, autonomous andadaptable - Basic knowledge of computer networking - Well-organizedperson and have the ability to prioritize tasks - Customer centricoriented - Autonomous - Attention to detail and a solutionorientated approach - Positive, energetic and proactive mindsetPreferred Skills: Not specified Pay range and compensation package:Not specified Equal Opportunity Statement: Include a statement oncommitment to diversity and inclusivity.
