As a member of the Finance Project Office (FPO) team, you will work under the supervision of the Head of FPO. In close collaboration with stakeholders (Head of Units, Group leaders, project managers, support staff, Finance teams), you''ll contribute to design and set up the set of processes dedicated to finance for projects. You''ll contribute to the management of the performance of the considered processes with stakeholders. You''ll contribute to a clear and shared definition of roles and responsibilities between the different teams and stakeholders for (and not limited to) finance tasks in projects, reporting, data ownership and data quality, etc. In close collaboration with stakeholders, you will contribute to a set of rules dedicated to finance in projects (structure, costing, pricing, procurement, time tracking, funding program ad hoc policies, management of objects; project, program, partnership, portfolio, ). Among others, and depending on your specific area of activity, the duties may include: Provides financial expertise on funding programmes to Group leaders, Project managers and Applicants. Contributes to datasheets on the funding programs. Ensures operations dedicated to the invoicing of projects, revenue recognition, periodic forecasting, budget definition, data quality management, funding authorities audit, project reporting. Ensures the quality of project data in our systems and reports. Actively contributes to specify good practices in the use of systems in the different process dedicated to finance for projects Contributes to develop ad hoc solutions (tools & method) for finance for projects to support Group leaders, Project managers and Applicants. Documents every necessary process, set of rules, good practices, etc. and make this documentation available to all actors within LIST. Participates to the works with external auditors when necessary. Contributes to projects with impact on F&A activity, especially (but not limited to) in Unity initiative and in Nexys project. Ensures close, proactive, transparent and effective communication and collaboration with other F&A teams and with internal clients and stakeholders. Education Master''s or bachelor''s degree in finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field. Experience and skills Have at least 5 years of experience in the field of European funding programmes or funding instruments for research. Strong financial analytical and quantitative skills. Strong technical skills in the use of large ERP systems and IT literacy on financial tools.
