Job Opportunity: Senior StatisticianRandstad Digital, a division of Randstad Italia specializing in the recruitment and selection of ICT professionals, is seeking a Senior Statistician for a renowned Software House focused on developing digital solutions for the medical sector.The selected candidate will join an international team dedicated to the development and validation of intelligent medical devices. The role combines advanced statistical skills with operational capabilities in managing and analyzing complex datasets, with a focus on training AI models, generating regulatory reports, and complying with industry standards.Responsibilities and ActivitiesData Management and Pipeline DevelopmentDesign and implement pipelines for collecting, cleaning, and transforming heterogeneous data, including images and metadata.Use languages such as R and SQL for data integration, manipulation, and extraction from clinical and operational sources.Manage the full lifecycle of datasets: stratification, versioning, documentation, and quality control.Statistical Analysis and ReportingDevelop statistical models to analyze distributions, identify anomalies, outliers, and significant trends.Perform statistical tests and inferential analyses (e.g., t-tests, ANOVA, chi-square).Define criteria, thresholds, and reference ranges to ensure adherence to experimental protocols.Produce technical and statistical reports for internal use and regulatory purposes.Essential RequirementsMaster''s degree or PhD in Statistics, Biostatistics, or related quantitative disciplines.Strong knowledge of experimental design, sample size calculation, stratification methods, and inferential analysis.Advanced skills in R, SQL, and Linux environments.Experience working with image-based datasets and structured metadata.Familiarity with data visualization and analysis tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, matplotlib).Knowledge of the regulated healthcare environment, medical devices, or clinical trials.Preferred SkillsExperience with DevOps or system management to support data pipelines.Ability to design logical data structures aligned with analysis needs.Knowledge of data versioning tools (e.g., Git, DVC) and cloud environments.OfferFull remote work with monthly team meetings.Competitive salary based on experience.Contract under the National Collective Labour Agreement for Commerce.Additional benefits include an 8 ticket.This advertisement is open to all genders, ages, and nationalities, in accordance with legislative decrees 903/77, 125/91, 215/03, and 216/03.#J-18808-Ljbffr
