ContextNuclear medicine has evolved considerably over recent years with the emergence of radiotheranostics, a modality which combines targeted diagnosis and therapy with radio-isotopes. It offers an important and promising alternative in the treatment of many cancers. Radiotheranostics is based on the use of radioisotopes which, when they decay, emit radiation that enables cancer cells to be precisely located and/or destroyed. Among these radioisotopes, the alpha-emitting Actinium-225 is one of the most promising for therapeutic purposes.One of the main challenges to making this therapeutic solution accessible for the greatest number of patients is ensuring the availability of high-quality Actinium-225 in large quantities. It is often referred to within the community as the rarest drug on Earth. By joining their unique expertise and resources, SCK CEN and IBA have launched the company PanTera, which aims at enabling the production of large-scale quantities of Actinium-225.In this context, PanTera is looking for a talented and experienced Logistics and Warehouse Specialist to take ownership of warehouse operations, inventory management, and logistics processes. This role requires a mix of strategic process development and hands-on operational execution. As a small organization, we are looking for a flexible and proactive professional who can design and implement logistics workflows while also performing key warehouse tasks such as goods reception, picking, and dispatching.ResponsibilitiesProcess definitionDevelop and implement logistics, warehousing, and inventory management processes.Define standard operating procedures (SOPs) for warehouse operations, including goods reception, quarantine, picking, packing, and shipping.Support implementation of logistics and warehouse processes into the company ERP system to digitalize operations.Ensure compliance with GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices), safety regulations, and nuclear material handling guidelines.Optimize warehouse layout for efficient space utilization, safety, and workflow improvement.Warehouse & inventoryReceive and inspect incoming goods, ensuring correct documentation and quality checks.Pick, pack, and prepare shipments, coordinating with suppliers and transport providers.Maintain accurate inventory records, perform regular cycle counts, monitor stocks and trigger replenishing if necessary.Ensure proper storage conditions.LogisticsPlan and execute material movements to support production and R&D needs.Manage transport logistics, in compliance with regulations.Liaise with suppliers, freight companies, and customs authorities to ensure smooth inbound and outbound logistics.As the company scales, define staffing needs and take the lead in creating and managing a logistics team.ProfileDegree in Logistics, Supply chain, Industrial engineering or equivalent by experience5+ years experience in logistics, warehouse, or supply chain roles, preferably in pharmaceuticals, or GMP environments.Experience in working with an ERP and inventory management.Good communication skills, efficient communication with internal & external stakeholdersGood oral and written communication skills in English and DutchYou are alsoEager to learn new fields and continuously update your knowledgeCreative with your approach to your work and thrive on bringing positive energy to your workA very committed person ready to inspire and be part of a team to move forwardAnalytical and rigorous, driven, pro-active and stress-resistantAble to identify the root cause of issues thanks to your good analytical skillsCapable of working autonomously and making decisionsAble to develop a global picture and drill down to phases and tasks to make it realA flexible person, willing to spend time on site (Mol, Belgium)Passionate and willing to contribute to a meaningful missionOur offerThis role presents a unique opportunity to work in a cutting-edge environment, contributing to the production of critical radioisotopes used in the fight against cancer.
