Could you be the full-time RD Engineer (Embedded SW Engineer) in Barcelona were looking for?
Your future role
Take on a new challenge and apply your ability with customer relationship to another level. Youll work alongside young and proactive teammates.
You will be responsible to work on new products based on cameras and lasers that will allow to to optimize the trains maintenance . Day-to-day, youll work closely with teams across the business (Industrial Team, Production), ensure that industrial processes are adequate and necessary in time, form and quality to achieve the objectives of the working group and ensure the reliability and availability of the equipment and much more.
Youll specifically take care of p roposing, developing and executing projects of applied research and technological development within business services, aimed at the validation in the field of the different developments, but also designing and industrializing products for data acquisition in railway environment.
Well look to you for:
Development of data acquisition systems based on embedded software.
Design, develop, and maintain software for embedded systems.
Manage suppliers that manufacture Hardware and/or develop Software.
Collaborate with hardware and software teams to integrate solutions.
Perform software testing and debugging to ensure functionality and performance.
Document software design, development, and testing processes.
Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback.
Ability to read and understand electrical schematics and component datasheets.
Stay updated with the latest trends and technologies in the field of embedded systems.
Participate in Design reviews.
Propose new RD initiatives, gathering ideas from inside and outside of the company.
Constant technological vision and knowledge of competitors.
Design for Quality milestones and progress follow-up (manufacturing, testing, commissioning, and warranty...)
Proposes and drives improvement action plans.
Guarantees Return of Experience of the deployments to new projects and Tenders.

Degree in Software Engineering, Electronic Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
Proven experience in embedded software development.
Deep knowledge of programming languages such as C/C++.
Experience with real-time operating systems
Microcontrollers/microprocessors based on ARM architecture
Experience with communication protocols (I2C, SPI, UART)
Knowledge of version control tools like Git.
English :C1
Travel: Between 10-20% of the time depending on the developments, will require international travel of certain duration for validations and training purposes.
