Our client is a multinational company and a globalleader in power transmission and industrial belting solutions, withoperations in over 40 countries. The company delivers advancedtechnologies for key sectors such as logistics, food processing,automotive, energy, and manufacturing, with a strong focus oninnovation, sustainability, and digital transformation. We arecurrently looking for a Lead Platform Engineer to join theirgrowing Global IT Infrastructure Team. The ideal candidate musthave expertise in server administration, virtualization, automation(PowerShell, biceps, Terraform), and storage management, along withexperience working with data center components. While Azure cloudexposure would be a plus, a strong experience in migration process(on-prem to cloud or cloud to cloud) is required for potentiallift-and-shift projects. Accountabilities: - Ensure the health andmaintenance of the assigned IT platforms - Responsible for platformstability and performance - Complete Service requests on theassigned platforms - Be the IT Platform SME for global projects andplatform roadmap - Support actively migration projects on-prem tocloud in collaboration with the wider teams - Identify, respond to,and triage any Platform incidents with the highest urgency -Implement process improvements, improve/update work instructions -Manage deployment of technical solutions based on user requirementsand business value - Maintain in-depth knowledge of ITinfrastructure to provide consistent and effective support -Identify and deliver technology solutions to address businesschallenges through proofs of concept, pilot programs, andsuccessful project - Develop and maintain comprehensive knowledgebase articles and technical notes to ensure knowledge transfer andoperational consistency - Offer guidance and mentorship to otherEngineers while collaborating with the Global team to ensureexceptional performance and continuous professional growth -Extensive knowledge of IT infrastructure systems, includingservers, storage, virtualization and automations - Proven hands-onexperience with on-prem to cloud migrations - Excellent knowledgeof Microsoft and VMware - Plus skills: Azure, Linux, Hyper-V,Security, HP Servers - Strong decision-making and problem-solvingskills - Strong documentation skills, including the ability tocreate knowledge base articles and tech notes. - Excellentcommunication skills - Fluent in Italian and English, spoken andwritten The position is based near Turin and offers a hybrid workmodel, combining on-site presence with remote working flexibility.Lannuncio rivolto ad ambo i sessi (D.lgs n. 198/2006) e nelrispetto di quanto disposto dallart. 10 del D.Lgs n. 276/2003.
