This role is offered on a 12month contract to start asap. The Datacenter Hands & Feet ITSupport L2 will be required to support operation work for asmall/medium based client. Tasks and Responsibilities - Addingmemory/flash to existing Non-End User Devices or Devices -Patching, moving an existing switch or router; - Installing,decommissioning, or moving WAP, WLC; Smart Edge, Firewall devices -Installing new, or moving existing, access points for coverageexpansion No higher than usage of a 6-foot ladder; however for ahigher ladder parties shall mutually discuss and agree. -Decommissioning a single Non-End User Device, including verifyingthe impact of such decommissioning and/or shutting the Device down;- Should be able to perform IMACD Installation, Move, Add, Change,and Disposal Services of the Data Center, network equipment -Troubleshoot issues with fiber links between switches Able tovisualize errors and communicate to remote technical teams -Troubleshoot and replace network switch chassis blades whenrequired. - Support end devices such as AR Headsets, Clocks, WiFiheart monitors, Puppy Cube Projectors, etc. - Wireless access pointAudit to update new WAP diagram. - Conducting Site surveys,including asset inventory validation; - Conduct WLAN surveys;installing, decommissioning or moving WAP; - Granting Site accessfor the Customers third parties. - May also be required to conductconference room equipment upgrades where they are swapping devicesand following the provided step-by-step processes. Detailedinstructions and support will be provided prior to the technicianconducting this work. - Assist network and data center admins(Internal, Customer, and Vendor) as required during the course oftechnical troubleshooting - Have hands-on experience inlarge/medium enterprise Data Centers or hosting sites consisting ofServers, Storage, and Network devices - Provide on call after hourssupport for any P2 issue. Job Requirements: - IT Diploma /certifications with minimum 3 to 6 years of experience. - Basicknowledge of Network Devices such as Switches, Routers, WirelessAccess Points preferably CISCO, Riverbed - Basic knowledge ondifferent cable types, port types, SFPs etc - Basic troubleshootingof VOIP phones (knowledge of basic configuration) - Basic knowledgeabout Hardware like Servers and storage devices - Racking andpatching any new Non-End User Devices or Device(s)Patch phone portsto switch as needed. - Good to understand on any Data CenterInfrastructure Management Application - Hands on experience onStructured cabling in the site - Able to demonstrate &experienced in solving complex business or technical issues. -Should have exposure to ITIL framework, preferable ITSM tool isRemedy (Incident, Problem and Change Management) - Demonstrableresults in a business customer facing role, with a track record ofdelivering services to defined service levels. - Fluent in French/good technical English to communicate with international teams.Ready for a new challenge?
