Coesia operates in 36 countries with 20 different companies and employs over 8,000 people as of 2023.About the RoleYou will be part of our Engineering Innovation team in Bologna, playing a key role in reimagining how we design and produce mechanical components. As a DFAM Engineer, you will apply Design for Additive Manufacturing principles to redesign parts, explore production improvements, and support the integration of 3D printing technologies into our processes. This role offers hands-on experience with internal 3D printing systems, design challenges, and cross-functional collaboration on cost and lead-time optimization.Activities include but are not limited to: Analyzing components and mechanical assemblies to identify reengineering opportunities through additive manufacturing Redesigning parts in 3D and 2D based on DFAM guidelines Organizing internal DFAM best-practice sharing sessions Preparing and managing internal 3D prints (model setup, slicing, parameter tuning), and supporting maintenance and material selection Supporting the industrialization phase of new projects Contributing to projects focused on performance, cost, and process efficiencyWhat You Need to Be Successful You have at least 5 year experience in similar role You hold a Masters Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field You are passionate about new technologies and additive manufacturing You have previous experience in component redesign for 3D printing (preferred but not required) You have strong 3D CAD modeling skills (SolidWorks preferred) You are familiar with traditional manufacturing processes You are a good communicator and enjoy working in a team You are hands-on, organized, and have strong problem-solving abilitieJoin the Team!Coesia is an equal opportunity employer and embraces diversity and inclusion.#J-18808-Ljbffr
