About the Role
We are looking for a commercially driven Branch Manager with a strong background in technical sales to lead our branch in Zaandam.
In this role, you will oversee sales activities, grow the customer base, and maximize the profitability of the branchall while guiding and developing a motivated technical sales team. Our clients rely on us for high-quality solutions in areas such as bearings, power transmission, pneumatics, hydraulics, tools, and industrial safety products.
Your technical expertise and customer-oriented approach are key to delivering the right solutions and achieving sustainable growth.
Your Responsibilities
- Lead, coach, and develop a high-performing sales and service team
- Achieve revenue, margin, and profitability targets
- Develop and implement local sales strategies to increase market share
- Provide technical advice and tailored solutions based on customer needs
- Identify new business opportunities within the industrial sector
- Ensure efficient operations and cost control within the branch
- Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, suppliers, and internal stakeholders
- Analyze market trends and report on commercial performance
What You Bring
- Bachelors degree or equivalent (HBO level thinking and working)
- Minimum 5 years of experience in technical sales (industrial supply, engineering products, MRO sectors)
- Strong technical knowledge of products like bearings, pneumatics, hydraulics, and tools
- Proven experience in managing and motivating a sales-driven team
- Excellent commercial skills: negotiation, client management, and business development
- Entrepreneurial mindset with a hands-on, solution-focused approach
- Familiarity with the local industrial market is a plus
