We are looking for a highly qualified Senior Software Engineer with extensive expertise in C/C++ and a background in distributed storage systems to join our Client, a global leader in parallel file systems specializing in distributed storage solutions for the AI and high-performance computing sectors.
This is a fully remote role, providing flexibility to work from anywhere in Poland, whether from your home or one of our state-of-the-art offices located in Gdansk, Katowice, Krakow, Lodz, Warsaw, or Wroclaw.
Exhibit proficiency in C/C++ programming, delivering efficient, high-quality, and maintainable code
Work closely with cross-functional teams, including engineers, architects, and product managers, to align development goals with project objectives
Perform thorough code reviews, provide constructive feedback, and guide junior developers toward continuous improvement
Analyze technical challenges, propose innovative solutions, and implement them effectively
Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science or a related field
~Expertise in C/C++ programming with an in-depth understanding of data structures and algorithms
~ Proven leadership experience managing entire subsystems in large-scale storage development projects
~ Familiarity with distributed file systems, network protocols, and parallel file systems
~ Effective communication skills and the ability to excel in a team-centric environment
~ Passion and proven ability to learn complex technical topics
~ English language fluency
Background in developing Linux kernel-level code
Flexibility to use programming languages like Python
