Senior Back-end Engineer at XTELWe are a professional team of recruiting specialists searching for talents in Ukraine, Europe, and the USA. Currently, we are looking for a Senior Back-end Engineer for XTEL.The Senior Backend Developer will be responsible for product design and implementation, supporting field sales management and trade optimization processes, and managing complex planning and execution activities. You will play a key role in transforming the solution to SaaS, focusing on refactoring and service transformation.Responsibilities:Lead development and refactoring of advanced product capabilities, analyzing key information, and providing insightful technical recommendations.Support design reviews to ensure solutions adhere to architecture, security, scalability, and maintainability guidelines.Gather requirements, design, and implement products and capabilities, leading development, deployment, and monitoring in production.Estimate development efforts for new features and enhancements collaboratively within Scrum teams.Contribute to engineering standards, best practices, and community.Develop and maintain high-quality, secure, and efficient software with good responsiveness, modifiability, and performance.Collaborate with Scrum teams, project managers, UX designers, other developers, analysts, and sales/marketing professionals on a SaaS solution based on Microsoft technologies and hosted on Azure.Assist in architecting solutions to support field sales management and trade optimization activities.Qualifications:Advanced knowledge of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP).Experience in legacy code refactoring.Proficiency in C# programming.Practical experience applying SOLID principles and Design Patterns.Experience writing Unit and Integration Tests.Fluent English communication skills.Knowledge of professional software engineering practices, including coding standards, code reviews, source control, build processes, testing, and operations.Experience developing distributed/scalable systems and high-volume transaction applications.Experience working in a microservice-oriented architecture.Knowledge of database query performance tuning and troubleshooting.Experience in Consumer Goods/Retail sector and knowledge of trade promotions, sales agreements, sales force automation, incentives management, and retail execution is advantageous.What You Will Get:A challenging position in a fast-growing Revenue Growth and Trade Promotion Management software company.Being part of a young, international team with strong ownership and a can-do mentality.Opportunities to contribute to organizational growth.An international, multidisciplinary environment with close cooperation with the business.Flexible working arrangements, including the possibility of hybrid work (company HQ in Bologna).#J-18808-Ljbffr
