At Anantara Grand Hotel Krasnapolsky Amsterdam, we are looking for a dynamic and visionary Banqueting Operations Manager to lead our prestigious events team. In this role, you will be the driving force behind the seamless execution of a wide array of events, including grand conferences, elegant weddings, gala dinners, and delightful brunches. With our hotel''s impressive capacity to host up to 1500 guests, you will ensure that every event is executed to perfection, leaving a lasting impression on our guests.

Reporting to the FB Operations Manager, you will take charge of managing the daily activities of the Meeting Events department. Your role will be pivotal in ensuring that every event, from intimate gatherings to large-scale conferences, runs smoothly and exceeds guest expectations.

Your Responsibilities:

• Daily Management: You will oversee the day-to-day operations of the Meeting Events department, ensuring that all activities are coordinated efficiently and effectively.
• Attention to Detail: Your keen eye for detail will be crucial in setting up meeting rooms and event spaces. You will creatively design and arrange these spaces to meet the specific requirements of each event, ensuring a seamless and memorable experience for guests.
• Efficient Planning: You plan and organize events with precision, ensuring that every aspect is thought out and executed. Your ability to anticipate and address potential challenges will be key to the success of each event.

• At least two years experience in managing high volume events in a 5-star environment.

• A natural leader who knows how to motivate your team.
• Eye for detail and ability to work under pressure.
• Excellent communication skills and proficiency in the English language, Dutch is a plus.
