6 MONTHS INTERNSHIP RPC-SCS (Risk and PermanentControl Secteurs Corporate et Structurs) is the department thatmanages the counterparty risk linked to banking activities/productsand that works side-by-side to business lines and Front-Office inorder to safeguard the banks risk positions. As such, the team isin charge to review and assess the financial risk with reference toexposure with its clients (event-driven or on an annual basis). Theintern will support the team that conducts credit analyses forCorporate clients (mostly, but not limited to, Large-Caps) and willparticipate in drafting credit reviews both for prospect andexisting clients to be presented either in local or Pariscommittees (or both). Such an activity encompasses an in-depthquantitative and qualitative financial analysis (business model,sector analysis, historical and prospective financial analysis),which should result in making recommendations and gaugingcounterpartys credit worthiness (i.e. rating calculation).Learning objectives: - Developing an in-depth knowledge offinancial statement analysis in order to assess counterpartiesfinancial stability; - understanding the underlying dynamics andtrends of the industries where clients are active; - ability toeffectively interact with Front-Office and Business Linesrepresentatives; - understanding of Investment Bankings businessmodel and functioning.
