Brain Technologies is searching for: Firmware EngineerWe are looking for a Firmware Engineer to design, develop, andmaintain embedded software for microcontroller-based electronicsystems. The ideal candidate has solid experience in low-levelprogramming, peripheral interfacing, and hardware-softwareintegration in real-time environments. Key Responsibilities: Develop and maintain firmware for embedded control units, focusingon stability, reliability, and performance Implement low-leveldrivers and middleware for sensors, actuators, and communicationprotocols (I2C, SPI, UART, CAN, etc.) Integrate firmware withelectronic boards and validate functional behavior through labtesting Collaborate with hardware and system engineers to supportboard bring-up and system integration activities Performdebugging, troubleshooting, and optimization of embedded systemsusing tools such as oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, and in-circuitdebuggers Contribute to the definition of software architectureand documentation of firmware modules Place: Brugherio (MB)Requirements: Bachelors/Masters in Electrical Engineering,Computer Engineering, or related field 3+ years of experience inembedded firmware development using C (and optionally C++) Solidknowledge of microcontrollers (ARM Cortex-M, STM32, AVR, PIC, etc.)and embedded development tools Familiarity with real-timeembedded systems and RTOS (e.g., FreeRTOS) is a plus Experiencewith version control systems (e.g., Git) and continuous integrationworkflows Strong debugging and problem-solving skills What weoffer: An employment contract commensurate with your profile Responsibility and growth opportunities Flexible and dynamicenvironment Flat organizational structure Internationalenvironment Welfare benefits Health insurance BrainTechnologies is an Italian engineering company founded in Turin in2008 by a group of people passionate about technology andinnovation.
