For our client we are looking for a "Supplier Quality Assurance (SQA)/ Engineer" , you will be responsible for ensuring and continuously improving the quality performance of suppliers. Working within the supply chain team, you will collaborate with colleagues to onboard new suppliers and enhance existing production processes . In cases of recurring quality issues, you will take the lead in initiating improvement projects . By using known and effective methodologies, you will drive suppliers to strengthen collaboration and raise quality standards. Responsibilities: Proactively initiate, plan, and execute improvement projects to optimize supplier delivery reliability and product quality. Define and uphold quality requirements and targets, ensuring compliance with customer specifications. Support the evaluation, development, and approval of new suppliers. Conduct internal and external audits to enhance quality standards and address quality-related challenges. Manage, analyze, and communicate quality deviations using 8D reporting. Requirements for the position: BSc in Mechanical Engineering , Mechatronics , or similar experience. Background in industrial manufacturing , engineering projects, and process control in production environment s . Experience with process audits and quality improvement methodologies such as Six Sigma, Lean, and PDCA . Familiarity with quality control tools, including 8D, FMEA, SPC, CTQs, and Control Plans. Understanding of various production techniques. Strong communication skills and the ability to influence stakeholders effectively. Willingness to travel occasionally.
