This incredible Art Adventure in a huge space mixing an Art Gallery & an immersive exposition area in the heart of Venise will open its doors from September 2025. We are offering an initial fixed-term contract between 6 & 8 months, with the possibility of moving to a permanent position. Reporting to the Local Director of our Artistic space in Venise & to the executive team based in France, your missions, if you accept them, will be as follows:Responsibilities:Provides exceptional standards of customer service and exceeds customer expectations at every opportunity by following our sales ceremonyProvide a consistent example of the company''s luxury image through lifestyle, customer relationship management, attitude, personal care, dress code and behaviourEnsure negotiation of sales within the limits usually granted by the companyReach monthly targets by supervising gallery sales & performance of the teamEnsure that the gallery is always conforms to the expected luxurious imageEnsure that the Artworks are correctly displayed and referencedSupervision and organization of the MEP (Setting up of the Artworks in the gallery)Ensure that effective stock controls are maintained to ensure a continuous supply of stock and ensure the accuracy of stock recordingAdministrative:Follow and check the various follow-up files trackingStock Management, imports, exports, processing of transit, storage of Artworks, inventories, packing etcManagement of the Gallery''s schedule - according to local standardsCheck and follow customer payment, in accordance with purchase ordersManagement:Participation to the recruitment of the teamEvaluation of performance, coachingAnalyse sales figures to maximize profits and drive Gallerys resultsEnsure the team is fully aware and actively striving to achieve key performance indicators to increase store performance and achieve individual goalsKeep abreast of market trends that may affect performance, understand future customer initiatives, and monitor local competitor activitiesDemonstrate a strong commercial interest in seeking to improve the businessSupport the team in the creation, development and maintenance of the customer databaseEnsure the proper functioning of the Gallery by following the directives, internal policies and procedures defined by the companyEnsure customer complaints are resolved quickly and successfullyWe implement an onboarding system for our new employees by mentoring, offering you training on Contemporary Art and sales techniques specific to Galeries Bartoux.
