Job Description SummaryThe Operations Excellence Leader is a key leadership role that will enable shops in the Aero Alliance to strive towards Best in Class Lean Concepts. This leader will utilize their business leadership experience to drive & influence the shops'' leadership/stakeholders towards Shop Lean & operational excellence. This is a critical role in the Aero Alliance as it connects and coordinates across multiple functions: Safety, Quality, Materials, Finance, and Customers. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving projects/process improvements to ensure alignment with Operational Goals. Key focus areas include Hoshin Kanri breakthroughs, process optimization, standardization, TAT stability, and fostering a cultural change around 5S and Continual Improvement. The role also involves minimizing defect risks through data and process improvements, interpreting business challenges, and recommending best practices based on industry trends.Roles and ResponsibilitiesDrive standardization and operational improvements across all Aero Repair Shops, supporting ongoing improvement actions and ensuring adherence to aviation standards.Standardize ways of working across shops and functions, including reporting processes like Incoming, Inspection, and Final reports.Implement simplified shop routings and digitize processes where possible.Utilize lean concepts to standardize and streamline shop operations.Develop and implement key IT solutions, collaborating with shops to adopt operational best practices.Define, prioritize, and track progress on the Lean journey, including 5S, layout, and flow improvements.Create and manage operational mechanisms for the team.Collaborate with the Lean team to define strategies for increasing lean maturity.Promote a continuous improvement culture by working with functional leaders across the network.Lead quality improvement activities, manage industrial projects, and deploy process improvements.Develop expertise within the function, providing thought leadership and influencing quality improvements across functions.Lead functional teams or projects with moderate complexity, presenting solutions to leaders and influencing internal and external stakeholders.Focus on wing-to-wing shop operations, driving creative solutions for complex problems and standardizing metrics across the network.Required QualificationsBachelor''s Degree or equivalent experience.Proven operational experience.Experience leading in a matrix environment.Experience in planning and project management.Willingness to travel up to 25% domestically and internationally, complying with company policies.Desired CharacteristicsMaster''s Degree or equivalent experience.Experience in global functions such as Engine Overhaul, Sourcing, Engineering, Quality, or Supply Chain.Ability to work with remote teams and manage complex projects.Experience with risk management processes.Proven track record of delivering challenging roles.Leadership, coaching, and mentoring skills across functions.Business leadership experience.Financial acumen within a manufacturing context.Strong communication and interpersonal skills.Knowledge of ERP systems and Lean manufacturing principles.High energy, team-oriented, and driven to succeed.Additional InformationRelocation Assistance Provided: Yes#J-18808-Ljbffr
