Your Key Responsibilities
As a Full Stack Engineer at BiometrIQ, youll collaborate closely with our development team (currently two people) to build a scalable, future-proof platform designed to support rapid international expansion and a growing user base.
You will play a crucial role in our transition from an early-stage startup to an established company. You will touch every corner of our product and have a strong impact.
Your Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain scalable software solutions
- Collaborate with the team to improve architecture and implement best practices
- Contribute to the design and implementation of new features
- Optimize the performance and stability of our systems
- Participate in code reviews and share knowledge within the team
Requirements:
- Several years of experience as a full stack developer, preferably in a SaaS environment
- Strong skills in Python and MySQL
- Familiarity with Google Cloud (AppEngine, Storage, Run, Cloud Tasks, etc.) is a plus
- Fluent in Dutch and English; knowledge of French is a significant advantage
- A thoughtful approach to building products, always keeping the end user in mind
- Problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills
- Proactive in suggesting and implementing improvements while distinguishing between priorities
Bonus Points:
- Affinity or interest in health and/or the healthcare sector
- Experience with Django
- Knowledge of design patterns and best practices
- Experience scaling applications
Double Bonus Points:
- Experience with Odoo development
