Saipem is committed to supporting its clients on the energy transition pathway towards Net Zero, with increasingly digital means, technologies and processes geared for environmental sustainability.Position: Vessel Operation Engineer ExpertAs the Vessel Operations Engineer (VOE), you will assist the Project Operations Manager (POM) in planning activities related to Operations during T&I Projects and Tenders. This role involves the effective administration, planning, and execution of operations through the coordination of a multi-disciplinary effort.Key Responsibilities:Provide engineering reviews and advise on best practices to assist in achieving project/tender objectives.Work with the Project Operation Manager (POM) and report on project documents and drawings.Assist in liaising with Client Representatives and subcontractors.Monitor work progress and site conditions, advising the POM on any developments.Support the Vessel Management Team regarding planning and execution of work.Participate in the resolution of any technical problems during the offshore campaign.Supervise the execution of diving, precommissioning, post trenching, and hook-up.Provide operational input to onshore project teams throughout both phases of projects.Review Installation procedures and ensure timely procurement of materials.Coordinate with various departments to ensure personnel and equipment availability.Identify deviations from procedures and manage them appropriately.Assist with the management of project-specific third-party contractors.Provide technical assistance to offshore personnel ensuring compliance with procedures.Assist in the mobilisation/demobilisation of vessels.Participate in feedback reporting and knowledge management.Minimum Requirements:Knowledge of English Language: B2Years of Experience: 3-5IT Skills: Skilled in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft ProjectSoft Skills: Strong work ethic, ability to work in changeable environments, and coordination across functions.Nice to Have:Extensive offshore experience on pipelay/construction vessels.Knowledge of subsea construction and onshore fabrication.Commitment to HSE and promoting safe practices.Good understanding of Saipem products and activities.Location: Fano (PU) Italy.
