**Job Description:** A vacancy for a *CertificationQualification Engineer Tiger Program* has arisen within AirbusHelicopters. You will join the Airworthiness Office of AirbusHelicopters in Marignane and become part of the Chief AirworthinessEngineer''s (CAE) Team for Tiger Program to support the safety ofour products by managing the Certification, Qualification andinitial Airworthiness activities for your program this includes newhelicopter type certification, changes to existing helicopter typecertificates and flight clearances. Each Project involves variouscontributors (Chief Engineering, designers, internal and externalspecialists, customer support, prototype shop, Final Assembly Line,...). As Certification Qualification Engineer you will be the focalpoint for the Airworthiness Authorities with whom you willnegotiate the certification basis as well as the certificationstrategy and means of compliance (lab/ground/flight testing, Safetyanalysis...) and authority involvement (document acceptance, testwitnessing, in-house reviews...). As Certification/QualificationEngineer you will be responsible to ensure demonstration ofcompliance to the applicable airworthiness requirements, to ensuretheir in-service safety. You will be responsible for leading theCertification and Qualification activities necessary to meet theTiger development and deliveries milestones. This results in achallenging transverse position, including negotiation internallybut also with Aviation Authorities world-wide, with greatresponsibilities, and a good overview on our products, on oursystems and on our organization. Wherever possible, we foster flexible workingarrangements to stimulate innovative thinking. * Task &accountabilities : * Your mission is to perform the certificationand qualification activities of the Tiger Helicopter, in aninternational environment with its industrial partners, within thetransnational team of the Chief Airworthiness Engineer Tiger/NH90.You will join Tiger Airworthiness Platform Squad, and work mainlyon Tiger Current Fleet certification projects. *To achieve this youhave to:* Influence and contribute to the harmonization of thefuture qualification (e.g. in the frame of offers...) Identify/define the applicable Certification / Qualification basisfor future Tiger evolutions. - Define theCertification/qualification Logics, elaborate and harmonizeinternally and externally (Airworthiness Authorities) thecertification & qualification plans, including theidentification of the Means of Compliance and associateddemonstrations of compliance. - Coordinate the creation anddelivery of those compliance demonstrations in accordance with thegeneral milestones provided by the Project team - Validate thosedemonstrations of compliance and harmonize them with Authoritiesand Nations - Produce the certification / qualification synthesisdocuments and harmonize them with authorities. - Approve designchanges under DOA privileges (in accordance with your experience asCQE) *In Parallel, the position may offer the opportunity to:* -Validate repairs. - Validate modifications on approved parts ofTechnical publications. - Contribute to the obtainment of Permit tofly. In the frame of Serial H/C deliveries, or in the frame of adevelopment, the Airworthiness Office has to prepare a documentsubstantiating the Flight Conditions in order to be granted with aflight clearance.
