Area Account Manager Location: Hybrid - Office inMilan Reports to: Regional Sales Manager Reason for Role Opening:New position reflecting growth and market expansion Your Team: Anindependent contributor, part of a team of about 7 people,including the Channel Director, Key Account Managers, anApplication Manager, and Customer Service Managers. RoleInformation: Solutions Driven are thrilled to be working with ourvalued client for their new Area Account Manager position. The keyresponsibilities of this role will be to manage channel partnersand strengthen these relationships. You will help create an overallsales strategy, build and strengthen new and existing businessrelationships to meet annual objectives in terms of revenue, value,pricing, and margins. You will define an account plan for the areaand update the plan based on market trends and developments. Themain market you will be working in will be automotive with a viewto expand further into other markets including renewable energy andmedical equipment manufacturing. Responsibilities of the AreaAccount Manager: - Account Plan: Define an account plan (includingobjectives, forecasts, and budget) in line with other relevantbusiness plans and aligned with direct sales management. Afterapproval, implement the plan and regularly update it based on trendanalysis and developments. - Account Management: Maintainrelationships with (potential) customers through regular fieldvisits, monitor developments and performance (e.g., customers''financial performance), and act as a business partner for assignedaccounts. Ensure agreed follow-up actions are taken. - Analysis:Proactively analyze customer product and service needs and monitormarket developments (new technologies, competition, etc.) andreport internally. - New Business: Develop new customerrelationships, identify and realize new business opportunities incooperation with other functional disciplines (e.g., technicalmarketing), and ensure business deals are closed (translateagreements with customers into a formal contract approved by allparties). - Stakeholder Management: Map customer stakeholders,develop, build, and maintain relationships with both internal andexternal customers. - Reporting: Ensure periodic reports(quantitative and qualitative) according to defined formats andprocedures.
