Your opportunity As a Senior Project Planner Shipbuilding, you will assume a pivotal role, ensuring the strategic and efficient planning of diverse projects from their initial phase through to completion. You will be collaborating and communicating across various departments, synthesizing information to create comprehensive project plans. Your responsibilities will include the generation of detailed progress reports and the proactive identification and resolution of potential project delays and bottlenecks. In this role, you will be working alongside the logistics team, ensuring that all equipment and resources are delivered on schedule, and engaging in critical discussions and negotiations regarding import/export requirements. What you will do Collaborate with Project Managers, Team Leaders, and subcontractors to establish a project baseline plan Monitor and assess operational plans to detect delays and bottlenecks in progress Implement improvement initiatives to address challenges in various project phases Provide regular progress reports and hour forecast updates Consolidate project data to support multi-project planning Oversee the logistics team to ensure all project needs are fulfilled Manage discussions and negotiations on import/export requirements and incoterms with customs authorities when necessary Where you will work This close client of ours is the leading Dutch developer and builder of marine defense systems.
