We are currently looking on behalf of one of our important clients for a Cloud Engineer or Architect (Azure / GCP / AWS). This role is permanent position based in Bern Canton.As a Cloud Engineer: Partake in significant involvement in the implementation of solution architectures based on cloud technologies. Advise customers & projects on the use of cloud technologies. Work closely with the infrastructure teams to ensure seamless integration. Collaborate closely with internal & external development teams to provide smooth deployment processes within projects. Maintain an overview of all aspects of operability, stability & security of designed solutions. Question the status quo & bring forward suggestions for improvement for the existing cloud environment. Contribute substantially to spreading the cloud spirit & know-how within the company & with customers.As a Cloud Architect: Advise customers & projects on the use of cloud technologies. Contribute substantially to spreading the cloud spirit & know-how within the company & with customers. Record client needs & expectations. Design solution architectures based on cloud technologies & support the associated implementation whilst in close collaboration with the infrastructure, development & security teams. Maintain an overview of all aspects of operability, stability & security of designed solutions. Question the status quo & bring forward suggestions for improvement for the existing cloud environment. Develop the team in terms of content.Your Skills:As a Cloud Engineer: At least 3 years of professional experience in building & running Microsoft Azure, AWS or Google Cloud Platform based solutions. Familiar with the relevant basic technologies such as containers, TCP / IP, DNS, Linux & Windows. Solid experience with scripting & orchestration solutions such as Ansible, Puppet, Python & Chef. Experienced in the conception & implementation of an automated tool chain for the provision of infrastructures (Infrastructure as Code), build pipelines & deployments. Skilled in the area of hybrid multi-cloud management.As a Cloud Architect: At least 3 years of experience in the designing, building & running Microsoft Azure, AWS or Google Cloud Platform-based solutions Strong experience in hybrid multi-cloud architectures. Experienced in developing cloud solution architectures & their documentation Familiar with the relevant basic technologies such as containers, TCP / IP, DNS, Linux & Windows. Experience in the conception of an automated tool chain for the provision of infrastructures (Infrastructure as Code), build pipelines & deployments.Your Profile: Computer Science University Degree. Motivated, agile, creative, strong communication skills & customer-oriented. Flexible & willing to travel in the region of Bern.
