Sign.com is an exciting new venture from Smallpdf, a Zurich-based company that bootstrapped its way into one of the most popular PDF tools in the world and one of the most visited websites globally, with a team of over 100 people from 34 nationalities in offices in Zurich, Belgrade, and Barcelona.
We launched Sign.com as a startup because we believe the world is ready for a better e-signing solution, ensuring small business owners can protect their growing businesses by giving them the tools to track and manage their contracts.

Objective of the role
As a co-founder for Sign.com , your primary goal is to lead all initiatives necessary to establish a viable business in a competitive market. You will be the business leader, requiring a strong product mindset, creativity, strategic insight, and relentless drive to develop, test, and implement effective market entry strategies.
Responsibilities
Strategic Product Development:
- Guide the team to develop and refine a compelling core product that resonates with target customers and surpasses competitors.
- Strategize product positioning and differentiation.
- Implement Product-Led Growth (PLG) initiatives to foster virality and expand the user base.
- Use data insights to drive growth and improve user retention.
- Innovate monetization strategies while focusing on user acquisition and growth.
Strategic Distribution:
- Work with the Growth Lead to develop innovative and cost-effective growth strategies, including partnerships and sales channels.
- Manage budgets and focus on unit economics for sustainable growth.
- Motivate and lead the team to high performance.
- Provide team members with the necessary tools and resources for decision-making.
- Recruit and retain top talent to advance the company''s mission.
- Maintain alignment with Smallpdf leadership.
Strategic Planning:
- Address key strategic questions and make informed decisions on testing, scaling, partnerships, funding, and customer relations.
- Ensure initiatives are executed at the right time for maximum impact.
This role is hybrid and requires regular onsite presence in Zurich.
What you bring
- Minimum 5 years of overall work experience.
- At least 3 years of experience in Product or Commercial Management within SaaS.
- Experience with launching products in a product-led growth setup as a (co)-founder.
- B2B (SME) and/or B2C (large user base) experience.
- Proven team leadership or management experience.
- Track record of driving growth and success in challenging markets.
