Overview
OCRE is hiring an experienced Ship Mechanic with MTU experience for work onshore. As an all-round boat mechanic, you find it fascinating to carry out varied and technical work on various ships.
Start: ASAP
Location: Belgium
Duration: 4 weeks on/4 weeks off
Focus Activities
- Maintenance of engines and ships.
- Assessing repair requests for the ship.
- Carrying out and correctly completing scheduled maintenance in Marad.
- Research into malfunctions in diesel engines.
- Specify required parts.
- Passing on orders to the purchasing department.
Requirements
- Strong communication skills in English.
- Have completed a technical education or equivalent through experience.
- Have basic knowledge of engines, pumps, hydraulics, generators, electricity, etc.
- Have experience in the maritime industry is a plus.
- Experience with MTU engines is a plus.
