The Conversion Infra team powers one of Boxs most critical experiences: high-fidelity document previews. Our platform processes billions of files to enable seamless previews, intelligent search, and AI-powered features all with Boxs enterprise-grade standards for security, performance, and scale.
At the heart of this platform is a large-scale Windows-based infrastructure, built to handle content from sources like SharePoint, Microsoft Office, and more. As we modernize and scale our systems in the cloud (GCP), were focused on automation, reliability, and performance optimization.
Were looking for a C# / Infrastructure Engineer who sits at the intersection of software development and platform operations. This is a unique opportunity for a C# developer who wants to go beyond pure application code and get hands-on with infrastructure or for someone already in a hybrid role who enjoys the breadth of owning both code and systems.
Youll help maintain and evolve our document conversion platform, with a focus on our Windows-based processing fleet, while also contributing to C# development projects, automation tooling, and cloud infrastructure.

Boxers are expected to work from their assigned office a minimum of 2 days per week, with a focus on Tuesdays and Thursdays.
