Focusing on Utility-scale BESS, this role is perfect for an ambitious Solutions Engineer that is looking to take their next step and work on some of the most ambitious projects in Europe.ResponsibilitiesWork with the Sales team for sales initiation, technical sales support and value engineeringAnalyse RFP documentation and asses project scope and riskConduct technical presentations and provide clarifications to customersUnderstand, interpret, and relay customer requirements into BESS solution designsLiaise with internal teams to prepare accurate costing and financial analysis for tender submissionReview and submit technical tender response bundles within deadlines to clientsFollow up and analyse previous tender submissions to understand outcome/resultUnderstand and keep up with storage market requirements and trendsUnderstand regional energy markets and associated revenue streams for storage systemsStudy competitive landscape for ongoing product developmentThe PersonBachelor''s or Master''s degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or Energy EngineeringFluency in business and technical EnglishAt least 2 years work experience in ESS marketPrevious work experience as an AE or SE of ESS market is advantageousPrevious experience in utility or ESS developer company is advantageousKnowledge of ESS projects development requirements is advantageousWorking knowledge of battery systems, power conversion systems, PPC/EMS/SCADA and grid connection processes for jurisdictions under your management (UK or relevant regions in Europe)Familiarity with grid operator processesIf you are passionate about the renewable energy industry and looking for a broad and challenging role with prospects to match (including senior leadership and Directorship roles), make your application without delay.
