Our client, a global financial services firm, specializes in investment banking, securities, and investment management services. Join the Controller''s team, responsible for ensuring the firm meets its financial control and reporting obligations. Specifically, you will be part of the Compensation Accounting team within the Controller''s group, which oversees monthly payroll bookings for the EMEA region.
Responsibilities:
- Process UK & global payrolls according to tax and payroll rules.
- Calculate wages and deductions based on contracts and internal rules.
- Coordinate up to 6 global payrolls.
- Handle pay, deductions, and tax inquiries.
- Resolve compensation discrepancies.
- Complete compensation controls and tax calculations.
- Liaise with the financial accounting team.
Skills & Experience:
- Minimum 3 years of UK/EMEA payroll experience.
- Experience in large organizations managing financial data.
- Proficient with MS Office and Web/Java-based systems (e.g., PeopleSoft 9.0).
- Ability to manage heavy workloads and multiple deadlines.
- Initiative and ability to work with minimal supervision.
