Our products are trusted in more households than any other brand in the world, making us a household name!The Senior Retail Category Development Manager will report direct to the Director Retail Execution Italy and the main responsibility will be:VISION/MISSIONEnsure CP is perceived as the undisputable Oral Care leader that knows shoppers, customers and category dynamic and develops strategies and plans to deliver Category value to our customers.Make CP to perceived as the most trusted and objective category advisor, by providing insight-driven category solutions to our customers omni-channel.Drive and orchestrate the development and the delivery of the Retail Category Development services (one and two ways) to our key customers.Disseminate the category knowledge (OC in priority) and drive Retail Category Development focus within the commercial organization.KEY OBJECTIVESAchieve OC leadership in top customers.Develop and deliver the Retail Category Development services ONE and TWO ways (OC Focus).Drive the new Retail Category Development approach and engage the Commercial organization (OC Focus).Leverage Retail Category Development services to elevate Customers Engagement.KEY RESPONSIBILITIESDELIVER Retail Category Development SERVICESCoordinate cross functional team (CDMs, BDMs and Shoppers) to develop local category stories by consolidating available Customer Shopper knowledge and retail trends into a ready to use category story to be delivered to key customers (1 or 2 ways).Develop roadmap for Retail Category Development services delivery and identify w/CD team the list of customers to work 1 or 2 ways.Enhancing the quality and speed of insight generation supporting eComm team on developing Category/eRCD guidelines on Digital shelf.Main CP interface with Nielsen (for fee negotiation, Periodic delivery, ad hoc request).DEVELOP & DELIVER 1 WAY SERVICESCoordinate sharing of a one way category knowledge approach (how/what/how often/newsletter/ ppt pres. / other).Coordinate cross functional team to convert brand initiatives into category selling stories -> right customers twist.Define Ideal Store reco for priority category.DEVELOP & DELIVER 2 WAYS SERVICESIdentify customers category challenges (w/SDM) and work w/insight team to uncover the whys. Work w/RE Mgr. and Mktg to ensure right focus and resources allocation.Develop appropriate category solution to maximize business opportunity and category growth within the selected customers including:Assortment reco (in alignment w/ Category and RE strategies).Planograms.Any customers specific shopper solutions.Coordinate (w/BDMs) the Customers- CP RCD Workshops.SHARE CATEGORY KNOWLEDGE INTERNALLYBuild category knowledge bundle for internal usage.Disseminate retailers perspective internally (within the guidelines of the CP CatMan principles) and share customers categories challenges and opportunities.DRIVE RETAIL CATEGORY FOCUS INTERNALLYProvide key inputs to GTM team for NP introduction and new projects (Products/ shopper programs/POP/ etc).Identify assortments gaps / issues and opportunities at category/customer level.QUALIFICATIONEducation: master degree in business or related field.Experience: min. 8 yrs of Marketing (Consumer and/or Shopper) and RE / Customer management experience will be considered as a plus.Languages: English and Italian fluent.Key Competencies: Communication, Influence/Negotiation, Consumer/Customer focused, Teamwork & Collaboration, Analytical Skills and Strong English proficiency.Knowledge of Italian commercial market is a key requirement.Loca
