Key tasks and responsibilities:
Interfacing with other engineering disciplines, Clients and other parties.
Lead the mechanical discipline engineering group during the project. Plan, supervise and coordinate mechanical and project activities.
Ensure that technical reviews are completed in a timely and complete manner.
Ensure that all design aspects are in accordance with company specifications.
Ensure consistent application of standards.
Experience in technical bid evaluation and expediting.
Minimum requirements:
10 years experience in developing deliverables such as technical specifications, data sheets for static, rotating and packaged equipment from customer specifications and PIDs, PFDs, design philosophies, etc.
Experience in previous offshore substations in German waters under DNV-GL certification is a plus.
Experience in reviewing third party technical documentation to ensure fulfilment of project requirements and coordination with other disciplines on EPC projects.
Ability to work effectively with colleagues in a multi-disciplinary environment
